NOT SO ‘Secret ’ MISSION

T HESE TWO SCRIPTURES are linked: MEN NEED TO BE WARNED OF THE CONSEQUENCES OF THEIR SINFUL LIVES...IT IS THE CHRISTIAN’S DUTY TO TELL THEM.

Sent by Christ

THE CRUCIFIED AND RISEN CHRIST, before His ascension into the Spirit realm (Heaven), sent the Apostles to preach the Gospel to the World (Mark 16:15) and conferred on them the powers needed to carry out this Gospel mission.

In Matthew 28:18 we read of Jesus receiving Himself this universal power from His Father: “ALL POWER is given unto me in Heaven and in earth” (18b.). Then we find Jesus commissioning His disciples to “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations (disciple them)...” (v. 19a.).

Sadly, many Protestant churches today do not practice this, if they do, it boils down to them forming other denominational churches like themselves. Jesus never told us to go and build denominational churches, He said to MAKE DISCIPLES!

There is only ONE EKKLESIA, and it is not Protestant, Roman Catholic, or any other sect...it is THE BODY OF CHRIST: born-again believers—water baptized believers who walk after the Spirit, and not the flesh, members who practice “self-crucifixion/ mortification (denial),” members who hunger and thirst after righteousness, not after worldliness as we see today.

Today’s “church” is “self-centered,” not “Christ-centered.” Consequently, you would think that the only reason why Jesus came, died, arose, and was glorified, was to make the “Christians” happy and to have fun.

The Bible never speaks of “fun” for “fun’s” sake. But, to hear these progressive church preachers/teachers tell it, we’re to enjoy all the good things of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Sinners: HELL NO, WE WON’T GO!

Bible: YES! YOU’LL BE HELL’S GUEST!

NO SUBJECT in the world is so repugnant to the human mind as HELL; yet, no subject is of greater importance. I won’t go into all the teachings on Hell in this writing, but you can get our 7 booklets on “HELL,” free.

Jesus taught it, and so MUST we. Most churches of today make no mention of this subject—it’s not “Politically Correct.” True!, but it is “Biblically Correct !,”and we had better WARN THE SINNERS.

Hell: Not Burnt Out!

WHEN ONE EVEN MENTIONS HELL today, let alone teaches about it, emotions range from disdain to an outburst of hostility. But, we must remember, Hell was not created by men, but by God. And God’s love for the sinner, to avoid Hell, was displayed in the giving of His only Begotten Son. One of the most loved and quoted Scriptures in the Bible is John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

This verse reveals the heart and purpose of God; His “love” is big enough to embrace ALL persons, i.e. “the world” (see 1 Tim. 2:4).

Ministers don’t mind preaching about God’s love—that He “gave” His Son as an offering for the sinner to be spared. But spared from WHAT? HELL FIRE! The blood atonement is the means of escaping Hell. Hell has not burned out as some want to believe, yea, even teach.

However, there are stipulations in order to be saved form such a Hellish place. To “believe” (Greek pisteuo, Strong’s G4100) includes 3 main elements:

1) a sure conviction that Jesus the Christ is God’s Son and the ONLY (not among others) Savior for lost humanity.

2) a self-surrendering fellowship with and obedience to Christ (see John 15:1-10, 14:21);

3) a fully assured trust that Christ is both able and willing to bring you to final salvation (perfection/maturity).

Why do men hate to hear the Gospel preached? The devil!

ACTUALLY, THE FULL GOSPEL SHOULD CONTAIN:

Some ministers may teach/preach several of the above, but ALL need to be taught…Hell is but one doctrine of Bible theology, as is Heaven.

Not Perish?

THE WORD “PERISH” does not mean extinction as some teach, but it means: “to destroy, to mar” (Greek apollumi, Strong’s G622). In other words, God never created the human race to destroy it (John 3:17), but to save humans from eternal death. But, man lost that realm of glory through the fall. To “perish” simply means to lose out with God/to be separated from His very personal being eternally. Like a vessel created for the master’s use that got ruined or marred, it is therefore cast aside. The marred vessel was intended to be used by the master, but it is no longer fit for the purpose it was created for. You see, all descendants of our first earthly parents are “marred” by sin, hence, Jesus gave His life so we sinners can be saved…from HELL.

Human Sympathies

ALL THE HUMAN SYMPATHIES in the world will not do away with the reality that sinners will be separated from God, and all the glories of Heaven, when they are in Hell. THE UNBIBLICAL TEACHINGS GOING FORTH TODAY, AGAINST THE REALITY OF HELL/LAKE OF FIRE, WILL NEVER EXTINGUISH IT.

Man’s fallen nature requires such a place as Hell; just as the murderer deserves the penitentiary. When men put no difference between the holy and the profane/between virtue and vice, the character [judgment/wrath] of God comes into play.

In this sick generation, we reward vice, and condemn virtue! This unjust nation, as it stands (falls!), rewards vice to promote vices, and punishes virtue to suppress virtues.

Hell Nonexistent?

GET SERIOUS HERE. Why is it that the modern progressive (and Hell-bound!) church writes, preaches, teaches, lectures etc. on the reality of Heaven, but fails to mention Hell? Why? Tell me why this is, when Jesus and His apostles mentioned it quite often.

Would Jesus speak of something that did not exist? “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in Hell” (Matt. 10:28, KJV).

The word “Hell” (KJV) is the Greek word “Gehenna” and it refers to a place of everlasting torment for the ungodly (see Mark 9:43, 48). The Bible certainly teaches us that human life does not end at human death; it continues FOREVER. Jesus boldly said that Hell is a “fire that NEVER shall be quenched” (Mark 9:43); it is a place of “everlasting fire” (Mt. 25:41); it is a place of “wailing and gnashing of teeth” (Mt. 13:42, 50); a place of “binding and outer darkness (of soul)” (22:13); a place of “torment and anguish and separation from Heaven” (Luke 16:23). Dangerous Teaching

IT IS VERY DANGEROUS to erect a doctrine on an inaccurate promise. The Bible plainly teaches that “God is love,” but that love requires justice…He will visit our transgressions with judgment, and He will by no means clear the guilty. OUR HOPE IS IN REPENTANCE AND WALKING CLEAN BEFORE OUR JUST JUDGE. His very throne/judgment seat is holy (Isaiah 6:3).

There is no such thing as universal salvation—as the universalists teach; men, in their fallen/sinful state (“ungodly”), are malefactors that will be judged by God. Our fallen/sinful nature (of the devil!) is criminal—even supposedly “good” people. The Bible tells us that there is NONE that is righteous (outside of being born-again), Romans 3:10 is proof: “As it is written, ‘There is none righteous, no, not one.” This verse penned under the inspiration of God by the apostle Paul, is proof that ALL people in their natural sinful state have been affected by sin and incline towards conformity to the world.

Sinners Burning!

ISAIAH 33:14 speaks of “everlasting burnings.” Psalm 49:19 speaks of the sinner that “shall never see light” (his soul is in gross darkness, separated from the personal essence of God’s light and glory). Again Psalms 73:19 speaks of being “literally consumed.” The Hebrew word “consumed” means: “accomplish, come to the full, sum, be wasted;” it never means “annihilated” as many believe. It would be like a disease consuming a whole body, with the body suffering, but never annihilated!. Mark 9:44 speaks of “the fire is not quenched.”

Olam

OLAM (H5769) is the Hebrew word in the Old Testament meaning “eternal,” along with its cognates and derivatives. The New Testament Word (Greek) for “eternal” is aion (G165) which is derived from aei (G104) meaning “always.” Both the Hebrew and Greek words which describe the “eternality” of the existence of God, the redeemed in Heaven, is also used to describe those in Hell. W. E. Munsey’s Eternal Retribution (Sword of the Lord publishers) is a good source to study. 

Illogical Reasoning

THOSE WHO TEACH ANNIHILATION (in Hell) are suggesting that some day God and His Holy Saints/Angels, His Son, and the Holy Ghost will be extinct...by using the same Greek and Hebrew terms.

Just how can we group the word “eternity”? “Endlessness” is impossible to measure, it has no past, it has no future, it has NO END!! Munsey writes: “It is an unoriginated, beginningless, endless, measureless, imperishable, indescribable, undefinable thing, itself is its only definition. It is an infinite circle that can never be measured.”

Do you want to spend eternity in Hell? Your unconfessed and unrepented of sins will take you there forever and ever. Revelation 20:11-15 tells us who will go to Hell and the lake of fire: “And whosoever (name) was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire” (v. 15). Rev. 3:5 tells us that our name can be BLOTTED OUT! of God’s Book of Life.

Some, too many!, believe the BIG “Once saved, always saved,” LIE; this fabrication is not true. Rev. 2:7 speaks of the “overcomer” (nikon, from G3528, nikao), one who, by God’s grace, received thru faith in Christ, has experienced the new birth (see John cpt. 3), and remains constant in his/her victory over sin, the world, and Satan...one can lose this by disobedience. HELL, RIGHT NOW, IS POPULATED BY BACKSLIDERS! THIS WALK WITH GOD REQUIRES AGGRESSIVE PERSISTENCE AND OBEDIENCE! THINK ABOUT IT.

Some Day

THERE IS COMING, to every human being, a pay day, some day. Every person will give an account of what they did and did not do. We will live forever some where; Heaven or Hell. Amen.
